HeroflowjourneyKIDS

Breathe. Create. Flow.

A gentle, supportive space for children who may feel overwhelmed, have busy minds, or struggle in traditional environments.

Small group sessions where children can move, create, take breaks, and join in at their own pace - without pressure to sit still, keep up, or get things 'right'.

A different kind of support:

HeroflowjourneyKIDS is not traditional tutoring, and it is not therapy.

Instead, it offers a gentle bridge - helping children rebuild confidence, connection, and a more positive relationship with learning.

Through creativity, movement, and simple guided activities, children are supported to re-engage in a way that feels natural and pressure-free.

Learning is gently woven into session through play, creativity, and connection - allowing children to rediscover curiosity and confidence without feeling pushed or overwhelmed.

A typical session might include:

Simple grounding or sensory noticing

Creative play, art, or projects

Connection and optional sharing

Quiet moments to pause or reflect

Moments where ideas like numbers, words, or problem-solving naturally appear through play and creativity

Each session is different — adapting to the children present on the day.

This space is intentionally supportive and responsive to each child.
It is not a replacement for school, therapy, or specialist provision, and does not offer assessments or diagnoses.

If you are looking for a low-pressure, supportive space alongside your child’s wider support, you are very welcome here.

Feel free to get in touch, ask questions, or arrange a first session to see how it feels.

Who HeroflowJourneyKids may supports:

HeroflowJourneyKids is for children aged 5–16 who tend to feel more at ease in gentle, responsive environments - where there is room to settle, express themselves, and be met as they are.

This space may be especially supportive for children who:

Have busy minds or find it hard to sit still

Feel overwhelmed in busy or high-pressure environments

Enjoy creative, reflective, or imaginative ways of exploring

Need time and space to build trust and confidence

Are navigating big feelings, transitions, or sensitive periods

What This Space Offers:

Expressions are welcomed

Children are free to express themselves in different ways - through movement, creativity, or quiet moments. Where needed, support is gently offered to help them feel safe and not overwhelmed.

Learning without pressure

There is no expectation to achieve, perform, or keep up. Learning emerges naturally through curiosity, creativity, and connection - helping children rebuild confidence at their own pace.

Steady adult support and guidance

Sessions are gently guided by a consistent adult presence, offering structure, reassurance, and flexibility - responding to what each child needs in the moment.

Explore the 4 Core Elements

Inspired by Earth, Water, Fire, and Air, these elements offer a gentle, flexible framework for sessions.

Rather than a fixed structure, they provide different ways for children to explore, express, and engaged - depending on their interests, energy, and what feels present for them on the day.

Explore a First Session

Earth:

Grounding, sensory experiences, feeling settled and supported

Water:

Emotional expression, fluidity, responding to what's moving

Fire:

Creativity, energy, imagination, active exploration

Air:

Reflection, curiosity, conversation, spacious thinking

Sessions may move between these elements naturally, or stay with one - there is no expectation to cover them all.

Inside a Heroflowjourney session

Sessions often move within a simple, flexible rhythm, offering a sense of steadiness where it is needed, and shifting as each child's confidence and independence grows.

The Wonder & Flow Activity Book

A gentle creative booklet that invites children to explore, notice, and express themselves in their own way - at their own pace.

It offers simple prompts, playful activities, and quiet moments of reflection that children can return to in their own time.

A small glimpse into the HeroflowJourneyKids space — nurturing, imaginative, and pressure-free.

With warmth,

Gabriela

🌀Find the Right Flow for Your Child

🌀 Gentle nervous system awareness & regulation
🌀 Encouragement & steady support— without pressure to “be” calm or confident

Meet Soleia,

Hi, I’m Soleia — the founder of HeroflowJourneyKids.

I’m a qualified teacher and experienced SEN tutor with over 13 years of working with children across primary and secondary settings. Alongside my teaching background, I have training in psychodynamic counselling and trauma-informed practice, which deeply shapes how I work with children and families.

Across schools, 1:1 sessions, and creative spaces, I’ve noticed something again and again:

Children don’t need fixing — they grow when they feel safe, seen, and allowed to be themselves.

HeroflowJourneyKids was created to offer a space like that.
A space that is calm but alive.
Structured, yet responsive.
Supportive without pressure or performance.

In sessions, I focus on creating the conditions where children can breathe, explore, and engage at their own pace — whether that looks quiet or expressive, playful or reflective, settled or unsettled on a given day.

I don’t work toward predefined outcomes or timelines. Instead, I hold the structure of the space so each child’s process can unfold safely and naturally.

I see my role not as an expert who has all the answers, but as a steady, attentive adult who listens, adapts, and reflects — offering care, boundaries, and presence rather than perfection.

If you’re curious, have questions, or would like to get a feel for whether this approach might be right for your child, you’re very welcome to connect or book a free trial session.

You can reach me at:

What does a typical session look like?

Each session follows a simple, flexible rhythm.
We usually begin with a short grounding or settling activity, followed by gentle creative, playful, or reflective exploration such as drawing, art-making, mindful games, storytelling, or quiet conversation.

The pace is calm and responsive, always guided by the child’s comfort and energy on the day. Sessions adapt naturally — there is no fixed agenda to “get through.”

How do you communicate progress?

I share light, narrative feedback that focuses on what I notice emerging over time — such as engagement, confidence, curiosity, emotional expression, or moments of ease.

There are no grades, targets, or performance measures.
Progress isn’t treated as a straight line, and it isn’t judged against predefined outcomes.

Is there homework?

There is no formal homework.

Occasionally, I may offer an optional creative or mindful prompt for children who enjoy continuing an activity between sessions — always by invitation, never expectation.

What if my child misses a session?

That’s completely understood — plans change.

If possible, I’ll offer a make-up option or a gentle reflection prompt so your child can reconnect in a way that feels supportive rather than pressurised.

How do you support children with anxiety or big feelings?

My approach is trauma-informed and grounded in emotional safety.

We move slowly, build trust, and use grounding, sensory, and creative tools to help children regulate in ways that feel manageable to them.
There is no pressure to “feel better” or to change how a child is showing up.

Do you offer a free trial session?

Yes — I offer a free 30-minute online session.
This gives your child the chance to meet me, experience the space, and see whether it feels like a good fit before joining a group.

What technology do we need?

A device with a camera and microphone, a stable internet connection, and a quiet, comfortable space.
Some families also enjoy joining from outdoors when appropriate.

Do I need to give parental consent?

Yes — a parental consent form is completed before sessions begin.

Safeguarding, privacy, and refund policies are available on the website and shared clearly in advance.

Are you a therapist?

No. I’m a qualified teacher and experienced SEN tutor, with additional training in psychodynamic counselling and trauma-informed practice.

The work is therapeutic in tone but not clinical.
If a child needs formal therapy, I’m happy to help signpost to appropriate professionals.

How do you keep my child safe online?

Sessions take place in secure, password-protected Zoom rooms with waiting rooms and controlled entry.

I hold an enhanced DBS and follow UK safeguarding and GDPR guidelines.
Parents remain nearby to supervise and ensure the physical environment is safe.

What should I expect from this work?

Each session offers a supportive, gently structured space where your child can arrive as they are.

Some sessions may feel calm and settled; others may be more playful, expressive, or exploratory. There is no expectation for a particular emotional state, behaviour, or visible “result.”

Over time, some parents notice small shifts — such as moments of increased ease, engagement, trust, or self-expression — but these unfold differently for each child and are not measured against timelines or targets.

Is this approach right for every child?

Not always — and that’s okay.

This space suits families who value emotional safety, creativity, and a non-pressured approach to learning and wellbeing.
If it doesn’t feel like the right fit, we’ll talk openly and kindly about next steps.
